We are seeking a Credit Controller to enhance our financial operations, ensuring effective and professional credit management throughout the organization while collaborating with both internal and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the prompt collection of outstanding invoices in line with company protocols, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage a portfolio of approximately 2,000 credit accounts and facilitate the collection of around £70 million.
- Engage with customers to build and maintain strong relationships, addressing any concerns with a calm and confident approach.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations of complex accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Utilize strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with financial and CRM systems.
The Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in credit control.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage challenging conversations effectively.
- A meticulous attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
- The ability to prioritize workload and meet targets efficiently.
- A collaborative spirit, particularly during peak accounting periods.
- Experience with IFS is advantageous but not mandatory.
