About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking individual to join our Corporate Health and Safety team as a Trainee Health and Safety Advisor. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with a chance to develop their knowledge and skills in health and safety, while contributing to the continued strengthening and development of our award-winning team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive health and safety advice and support to staff within the wider Lincolnshire County Council team.
  • Work towards delivering health and safety support to managers as part of an ongoing safety development program and performance target.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively and engage people to promote a positive health and safety culture.
  • Remain calm under pressure while being organized and priority-focused.
Requirements
  • A keen interest in health and safety and a willingness to learn and develop on the job.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A good eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
