We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic doctor to join our Cardiology team at The Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend, South Wales.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing patients on a single ward with 21 Cardiology/GIM beds, including 9 level 2 monitored Acute Cardiac Care Unit beds.
They will work as part of a single clinical team, providing daily 7-day support to the Acute Medical take and offering cardiology advice for in-patients on other wards.
About the RoleThis is a fixed-term post for up to 6 months, due to meet the needs of the service.
The Cardiologists work closely with 6 Consultants and 1 associate specialist, providing secondary and some tertiary cardiac services.
The team is supported by various healthcare professionals, including Speciality Trainees, Clinical Fellows, and Cardiac Advanced Nurse Practitioners.
