ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Swiftly respond to inquiries from guests and various departments. Identify and report maintenance needs in public spaces or guest accommodations. Set up caution signs as necessary. Directly contact other departments for urgent repairs. Fulfill guest requests and arrange furniture in guest rooms as needed. Clear hallways of items and transport them to service areas, including debris, room service trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash near housekeeping carts. Maintain, clean, and store cleaning equipment.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report maintenance issues, safety risks, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; store flammable materials properly. Ensure a clean and professional appearance; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express genuine appreciation to guests. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Collaborate with the team to achieve shared objectives. Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations. Lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and over 55 pounds with assistance. Maneuver a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspect tools and equipment for defects. Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate through narrow or elevated spaces. Climb ladders as needed. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by Supervisors.
