Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Fabric Engineer to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our Engineering & Manufacturing department, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and developing production equipment within an Industrial/Manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintain and repair production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  2. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance production line efficiency
  3. Troubleshoot technical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime
  4. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols
  5. Collaborate with team members to drive process improvements and share best practices
  6. Record and report maintenance activities and performance indicators
  7. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  1. Relevant academic qualifications in Engineering or a related field
  2. Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial/Manufacturing sector
  3. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
  4. Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems effectively
  5. Excellent communication and team-working skills
  6. Commitment to adhere to safety protocols and procedures
  7. Aptitude for continuous learning and development
