About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at CV Library. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our cleanroom laundry project.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Lead and manage multi-million pound construction projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  2. Engineering Solutions: Develop innovative engineering solutions at the forefront of the laundry industry, utilizing your broad engineering knowledge and ingenuity.
  3. Team Management: Manage virtual teams, coordinating and motivating them to deliver project outcomes.
  4. Risk Management: Identify and manage project critical path, including managing risks and opportunities.
  5. Project Delivery: Employ a completer/finisher mindset, taking project outcomes from good to excellent.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Understand and engage project stakeholders through verbal and written communication.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with key business functions, including Health and Safety and Quality, to deliver projects that are safe and meet customer expectations.
  8. Travel: Occasional international travel to visit suppliers, contractors, and exhibitions.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: Degree level qualification, or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
  2. Experience: Experience of multi-million pound construction projects, with a track record of leading or working on major capital projects.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management software tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
  4. Personal Qualities: Strong project management skills, ability to apply engineering knowledge to technological innovation, and a completer/finisher mindset.
