Talent Finder Jobs is a prominent organization recognized for delivering exceptional maintenance solutions in the natural gas and biogas industries, offering comprehensive field engineering support.

This position is primarily focused on the electrical sector, catering to the Humberside / North East region.

With over two decades of expertise in servicing natural gas Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems, the company has recently expanded its services to include innovative technologies in the renewable energy field, assisting manufacturers in biogas upgrading and purification technologies. Our services extend to ancillary equipment such as compressors, motors, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and electrical systems.

Are You the Ideal Candidate?

  • Possession of ONC / HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred
  • COMPEX 1-4 certification is a plus, along with mechanical experience
  • A valid driving license is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated experience as an Industrial Electrical Technician or in a similar capacity
  • Preferred electrical qualifications
  • Familiarity with industrial electrical systems, including wiring, motors, transformers, and control systems
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities
  • Solid understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards

Your Responsibilities as a Service Technician:

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to motors, generators, and control systems
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical systems in industrial environments
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems to ensure peak performance
  • Interpret technical documents to facilitate installations and repairs
  • Collaborate with engineers and team members to devise effective electrical solutions
  • Perform inspections and tests to identify potential hazards and suggest enhancements
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials utilized, and maintenance schedules
  • Participate in the on-call rotation
  • Occasional travel within the UK and opportunities for international assignments
