Bristol City Council is seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our growing Data and Insight Team.

We are building a robust Azure Data and Analytics Platform to empower data-driven decision making across the council. As part of this exciting initiative, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to ingest data from various source systems into our Azure-hosted Data Lake.
  • Collaborate with the Data Management Lead and Data Analytics Team to ensure data quality, accuracy, and security within the Data Lake.
  • Automate data loading processes and implement robust monitoring and maintenance procedures for existing pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot complex data-related issues using Azure-based tools and applications.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure and processes.
