Position Overview

Community Support Specialist

Role Summary...

As a Community Support Specialist, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver essential housing assistance and outreach services, aimed at helping individuals experiencing homelessness and those at risk of losing their homes. Your mission will be to implement a tailored support plan that empowers clients to achieve independence and work towards stable housing solutions.

This position is part of the HOPS - Homeless Outreach Partnership Service.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM

Candidate Profile...
To qualify for this position, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory.
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with service users.
  • Familiarity with conducting comprehensive assessments, including risk evaluations.
  • Understanding of safeguarding policies for both adults and children.
  • Experience in supporting vulnerable populations is preferred.
