We are seeking a skilled Highways Maintenance Specialist to join our Transportation team at Kier Group. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling works packages for the highways maintenance teams in our region.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our team to develop maintenance solutions for the network in line with our asset management strategy. As a Highways Maintenance Specialist, you will work closely with Highway Inspectors and Community Stewards to achieve key customer-focused outcomes and meet operational and performance targets established by our clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and planning works programmes to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of our transportation infrastructure
  • Assisting in ensuring key business targets and key performance indicators are achieved through effective collaboration with our teams and clients
  • Ensuring works comply with our highways works specification to ensure high-quality maintenance and repair of our transportation assets

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Site Managers Safety Training Scheme - CITB certification
  • 12D M7 Lantra qualification
