We are seeking a skilled and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our team at Langdale Chase Hotel, a 5-star hotel located on the shores of Lake Windermere. As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious breakfast menus to our guests, ensuring a high level of customer service and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook breakfast menus to the highest standards
  • Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the breakfast service
  • Prepare afternoon tea sandwiches and savoury items, as well as lounge and casual dining menu items
  • Accept and sign off early morning deliveries
  • Maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
  • Support the hotel in ensuring waste is recycled correctly

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a high-quality hotel
  • Proven ability to work calmly and effectively in a pressurised environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well with others
  • Strong work ethic, good timekeeping, and ability to multitask
