Job Title: Senior Compliance Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Analyst to join our team at Davies Group. As a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Compliance and the compliance team in delivering, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with our regulatory compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of our Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP)
  • Conduct regular oversight of our network of Appointed Representatives (ARs)
  • Support the Head of Compliance and team with acquired businesses within Insurance Services Compliance
  • Support the Compliance Manager with day-to-day team operations and ad-hoc tasks
  • Assist with the launch of new ARs, including due diligence, policy reviews, and procedure updates
  • Make applications on the FCA's Connect system and assist with RMAR reporting
  • Review financial promotions in line with ICOBS rules and customer journeys for ARs in the launch phase
  • Assist with compliance monitoring visits and due diligence on new clients
  • Prepare board reports for ARs and DIS compliance board meetings
  • Review Insurer audit reports and recommend remedial actions
  • Ensure ARs adhere to IDD requirements
  • Review Conduct risk reporting forms and assist with risk framework
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in a compliance function within the general insurance sector
  • Understanding of regulatory rules and their impact on the wholesale and retail markets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing tasks
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
  • Experience in supporting, training, and developing team members
  • Experience in reviewing financial promotions and understanding the appointed representative model
  • Relevant qualification, such as the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualification, is desirable
