Your Responsibilities:
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering maintenance and repair tasks across our facility. Your role will involve:
- Executing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules promptly and addressing breakdowns as they arise.
- Designing and programming PLC systems to optimize machinery and industrial operations.
- Developing PLC code, logic diagrams, and human-machine interface (HMI) applications.
- Modifying and troubleshooting existing PLC programs as necessary.
- Upholding Health and Safety and Food Safety standards in all engineering activities.
- Supporting team members to achieve performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Overseeing the Health and Safety of external contractors on-site and ensuring cleanliness post-completion.
- Ensuring all machinery and equipment comply with site standards and addressing any issues appropriately.
- Managing the inventory of engineering spares to maintain effective stock levels.
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards in all engineering areas and communicating effectively across departments regarding engineering tasks and breakdowns.
What We Expect:

- A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Ideally, experience within the food manufacturing sector.
