Civil Engineering Groundworks Specialist

About the Role:

Fawkes and Reece, a prominent civil engineering contractor, is seeking a skilled SITE ENGINEER to join their expanding operations team. As a key member of the groundworks setting out team, you will report to the Contracts Manager and be responsible for managing parts of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing construction projects, ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets, and/or timescales.
• Travelling to sites across the Northwest to oversee groundworks projects.
• Checking technical designs and drawings for accuracy and ensuring they are followed correctly.
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors, local authority employees, architects, and other professionals.
• Ensuring health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.

Requirements:

• Previous experience setting out groundworks on new house building projects.
• Previous experience working for a civil engineering contractor.
• Full UK driver's license.
• Civil Engineering Qualification (HND minimum).
• Up-to-date tickets and certifications.
