Prism Digital, a pioneering firm in the AI-driven financial sector, is seeking to onboard their inaugural Infrastructure Engineer. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a small yet dynamic team, currently comprising only four members, including the CTO and a dedicated back-end developer. Given the start-up nature of this position, it is essential that you can work in the office two days a week.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Kubernetes
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Strong skills in Python
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms, preferably Azure, but candidates from AWS or GCP backgrounds are also welcome

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with containerized applications, particularly Django, Celery, and Postgres, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first setting. A passion for continuous learning and innovation is essential.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a developer and a degree in science or engineering is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure utilizing Kubernetes and Terraform. The applications are based on Django with Celery workers and a Postgres database on Azure.
  • Ensure the security and resilience of the platform, aiming for ISO27000 certification.
  • Establish monitoring and alerting systems and create insightful dashboards.
  • Collaborate directly with the CEO, CTO, and a senior developer on innovative projects, with the potential to evolve into the Lead Infrastructure Engineer role as the company expands.
