About the Role

Westlakes Recruit is seeking an experienced Safety Case Developer to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based in Barrow with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Principal Engineering Manager to develop effective safety cases using analytical methods and documentation structures.
  • Provide authoritative guidance and mentoring to safety case specialists to maintain an effective safety case capability.
  • Develop and implement safety case structures, processes, and analytical methods.
  • Ensure the Site Safety Case Team adheres to Company Policy, Business Processes, and Quality Assurance programs.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external safety and regulatory authorities.
Requirements
  • Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of safety case development techniques and methodologies.
