About the Role

Meadows Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our residential care team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents.
    • Manage and coordinate the work of multiple personnel, including care staff and support workers.
  • Leadership and Development
    • Provide guidance and support to staff to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
    • Help with the onboarding and training of new staff members.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure that the home meets all relevant regulatory requirements, including those set out in the Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
    • Work closely with our quality assurance team to ensure that our services meet the highest standards.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience of supervising and managing professional staff.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting within the last 5 years.
  • Must hold or be working toward a recognised professional qualification relevant to working with children and young people.
