JIRA Systems Expert

As a JIRA Systems Expert, your primary responsibilities will include the management and enhancement of Atlassian platforms (JIRA, JIRA Service Management, Confluence). This role involves the testing and execution of project migrations, installations, and upgrades. You will also focus on optimizing system efficiency through regular maintenance, providing advanced support, and developing and managing JIRA workflows, project screens, schemes, and fields. Additionally, you will offer guidance to users on best practices, including the creation of technical documentation and user manuals.

This role is crucial as you will oversee all technical elements of the Atlassian environment and support the wider portfolio offered by Enterprise IT to developers worldwide.

Candidate Profile:

  • Extensive knowledge of the Atlassian product suite, including JIRA, JIRA Service Management, and Confluence.
  • Proven experience in configuring JIRA projects for diverse teams, including customizing workflows, permissions, screens, and issue types.
  • Experience with Atlassian installations, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Proficient in PostgreSQL, JavaScript, JQL, and familiar with EazyBI for JIRA, Rich Filters for JIRA, and ScriptRunner for JIRA.
  • Strong collaborative skills and effective communication abilities.
