Job Opportunity for a Primary School Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary School Teacher to join our team at a friendly Primary School in the South Gloucestershire area. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a Year 1 class and contributing to the school's community feel.

About the Role

This is a long-term position to start from September, covering MAT leave. The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate with experience in KS1 or EYFS who has great phonics knowledge and high expectations of learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that promote learning and development.
  • Work alongside a teaching assistant to provide additional support for children with special educational needs.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and parents to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Follow the school's behaviour and safeguarding policy.
  • Use positive behaviour management techniques to promote good behaviour and discipline.
