Key Responsibilities- Manage Complex SEN Tribunal Cases: You will be responsible for handling a caseload of complex SEN Tribunal cases with minimal supervision, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.
- Advocacy and Representation: You will undertake advocacy in case management and final hearings in the first-tier SEND Tribunal, and instruct counsel as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Risk Management: You will identify and manage risks associated with SEN legal practice, ensuring that our clients' interests are protected at all times.
- Client Liaison: You will attend client liaison meetings to discuss ongoing cases and ensure service quality, building strong relationships with our clients and stakeholders.
- Legal Training and Development: You will develop and deliver legal training to clients in specific areas of law, enhancing their knowledge and skills in SEN Education.
- Team Collaboration: You will support the management team in building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring compliance with SRA and practice management requirements, contributing to the development and mentoring of colleagues within the Litigation Team.
- Qualifications and Experience: You must be a qualified Lawyer with experience in SEN Education law, able to manage complex legal cases independently and provide comprehensive legal advice and representation.
- Advocacy Skills: You must have strong advocacy skills with experience in SEND Tribunal hearings, able to instruct counsel as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Client Training and Development: You must have experience in client training and development in legal skills and law areas, able to develop and deliver legal training to clients in specific areas of law.
