  6. Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment, organizing resources and space effectively.
  7. Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress and attainment.
  8. Plan and deliver keywork sessions tailored to the needs of students.

Supporting the Pupil:

  1. Build positive relationships with pupils, fostering self-esteem, independence, and social inclusion.
  2. Respond to behavioural incidents in accordance with the school's behaviour policy.
  3. Assist with developing and delivering individual education, support, and care plans.
  4. Provide targeted support for pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, escalating concerns as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in a school or educational setting.
  2. Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN).
  3. DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  4. Must have access to own car and hold a full driving licence.
  5. Experience in planning and delivering learning activities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive SEN school where you can make a significant impact on the lives of students with SEMH profiles. If you are passionate about promoting student development and inclusion, we would love to hear from you.
