About Us:

At EK Outreach Services, we provide specialist one-to-one teaching for students who face challenges in mainstream school environments. Our team of experienced educators offers individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve academic success.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced A-Level English Teacher to deliver tailored lessons to students with diverse needs, including those with SEND. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach and support students who are unable to attend mainstream schooling, helping them engage with English Studies through accessible and engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver individualized English lessons that cater to the student's academic level and learning objectives.
  • Remain patient and flexible in your approach to learning, adapting lesson content and teaching methods to support students with SEND and other learning challenges.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant experience teaching English up to A-level.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English Language and Literature curriculum and related topics.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
