Chemistry Graduate Tutor Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chemistry Graduate to join our team at EdEx as a Part-Time Tutor. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry Graduate eager to inspire the next generation of scientists.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality 1:1 and group interventions to support students in Chemistry, with a focus on raising attainment.
  2. Work with students across Key Stages 4 and 5, providing tailored support to help them excel in their studies.
  3. Collaborate with the AQA exam board to ensure students receive the best possible support for their exams.
  4. Assist students with university applications and provide guidance on their future academic and career paths.
Person Specification
  1. A 1st Class or 2:1 Graduate from a top university, with a strong academic background in relevant subjects.
  2. A hard-working and committed individual who is dedicated to helping all students succeed.
  3. Perfect for a future Secondary Teacher, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
Job Details
  1. Monday to Friday, term-time only, with a September 2024 start.
  2. A competitive hourly rate of £15-£20.
  3. Supporting students across your chosen specialism, with opportunities to run intervention groups and develop your teaching skills.
