Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Divisional Operations Manager and staff, including managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and preparing correspondence.
- Manage and respond to general inquiries from other organizations and individuals, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Arrange meetings and take minutes as required, maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality.
- Conduct financial processes, including processing invoices and utilizing the Salvation Army accounting system.
- Manage room bookings, including arranging equipment, catering, and room layouts as needed.
- Maintain both computer databases and hard copy filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
- Assist with the administration and organization of divisional events and initiatives, ensuring seamless execution.
- Provide administrative support to other Salvation Army churches within the division as requested.
- Undertake any other duties that fall within the scope of the role.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role within a busy and varied work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- A strong appreciation of and commitment to working within The Salvation Army's Christian ethos and key values.
