Position Overview: Lifting Equipment Maintenance Engineer at Production Resource Group
The Lifting Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the upkeep, evaluation, and repair of lifting devices and equipment in accordance with the UK Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER). This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of lifting apparatus utilized in diverse industrial environments.
Key Qualifications:

- Execute load and functional tests to verify equipment safety.
- Maintain precise inspection documentation.
- Organize materials in designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management and shipping/receiving operations.
- Process equipment orders and promptly report any damaged items.
- Inform supervisors of equipment shortages for upcoming projects.
- Verify the condition of rented equipment upon receipt and return.
- Consistently uphold quality standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in departmental technology.
- Follow LEAN process guidelines diligently.
