Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join our team at AGM Construction Recruitment. As a key member of our property development team, you will be responsible for delivering cost consultancy services on a range of new builds, refurbishments, and programmes of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Quantity Surveying/Cost Management services on projects from inception to handover
  • Support the lead QS/EA on projects, providing service delivery
  • Responsible for pre and post-project commercial management and reporting
  • Prepare client cost reports and report on change during the life of a project
  • Assist in developing client relationships
  • Experience of either JCT or NEC contracts
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal staff
  • Mentor trainee, assistant, and graduate colleagues
Requirements
  • Experience with private and public sector clients
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Ideally MRICS or similar accreditation
  • 3+ years working in a professional consultancy environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other role-related software packages
  • IT skills, such as BIM/CAD measure, Cost Planning software
  • Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Confident, outgoing, with a drive to succeed and develop
