Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years PQE and experience handling a caseload of complex Fast-track Catastrophic Injury files. They will possess demonstrable expertise in handling complex catastrophic injury cases from inception to settlement or trial, as well as solid knowledge of relevant legislation, case law, and legal procedures.

Key responsibilities will include conducting thorough investigations, assessing liability, and providing sound legal opinions to clients. You will also collaborate with medical experts, barristers, and other relevant parties to build strong cases, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court when necessary.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner. You will also have proven negotiation and advocacy skills, with experience in achieving favourable outcomes for clients.

**Requirements:**

* Qualified solicitor with minimum 8 years PQE and experience handling a caseload of complex Fast-track Catastrophic Injury files.
* Demonstrable expertise in handling complex catastrophic injury cases from inception to settlement or trial.
* Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, case law, and legal procedures.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess liability, damages, and quantum accurately.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner.
* Proven negotiation and advocacy skills, with experience in achieving favourable outcomes for clients.
* Ability to work independently, manage a demanding caseload, and meet deadlines.
* Empathy, sensitivity, and the ability to build rapport with clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry trends.
* Membership in relevant professional bodies and accreditations is desirable.
