Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing housing-related support and intensive housing management to individuals within our service. This will involve working independently in the community with service users, managing a small caseload, and providing practical and emotional support to assist in the development of life skills and enable service users to move into independent accommodation.

Key Tasks
  1. Provide housing-related support and intensive housing management to individuals within our service.
  2. Work independently in the community with service users, managing a small caseload.
  3. Provide practical and emotional support to assist in the development of life skills and enable service users to move into independent accommodation.
  4. Work with and promote our services to voluntary, statutory, and community-based organisations across the district.
  5. Manage staff in line with HR policies and procedures, authorising leave and time off in lieu as per conditions laid out in our employee handbook.
  6. Supervise and appraise staff in line with our Support & Supervision Policy.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of housing-related support and management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently in a community setting. A driver's license is preferred but not essential. An enhanced DBS check is required.
