Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Operations Manager to join our team at White Horse Employment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring our transactional team to ensure high performance.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in an operational and finance role, with strong systems skills and experience managing teams. You will be heavily involved in banking, treasury, accounts receivable, sales ledger, accounts payable, and credit management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor the transactional team to ensure high performance
  • Support the wider finance team, including financial controllers and financial directors
  • Oversee month-end processes, including reconciliations and bank reconciliations
  • Conduct detailed cash flow analysis on a daily basis
  • Prepare profit and loss, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing teams and leading finance operations
  • Strong systems skills, including proficiency in financial software and systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
  • A fixed-term contract of 9-12 months
