About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our events portfolio. As Head of Events, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic events plan that aligns with our organisational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver a comprehensive events programme that meets the needs of our members and stakeholders
- Lead a team of events professionals to ensure successful event delivery
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners and suppliers
- Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to maximise event revenue and attendance
- Develop and implement new and innovative event formats and features
- Monitor and evaluate event performance and make recommendations for improvement
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 4+ years of experience in event management at a senior level
- Proven track record of delivering successful events and growing event revenue
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of the environmental sector and CIWEM's mission and values
