Job Summary
We are looking for a Primary Care Physician who is quality-focused, values complex care, and wants to be part of a high-functioning, interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary care physician for patients & their families within the Veterans and first responder populations
- Consult with and refer to other health care workers (both within the Centre of Clinical Excellence & external), including specialists, to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Work closely with the other Centre of Clinical Excellence practitioners to meet identified client needs and achieve excellent patient outcomes
Requirements
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Full
- Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) or equivalent - Optional
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
- A willing & passionate team player who thrives in an interdisciplinary setting
- Clients would describe you as warm, empathetic, respectful, and someone who takes the time to learn each individual's unique story
- Experience supporting the Veteran, military, and first responder population considered an asset
