Job Summary:
24-7 Recruitment Services is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for depot-to-depot deliveries, playing a crucial role in helping our client deliver millions of parcels annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Depot-to-depot deliveries, trunking goods from one location to another
- Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to meet customer expectations
- Operating a HGV Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety guidelines
- Managing digital tacho and driver qualification cards, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
- Providing excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and concerns in a professional manner
Requirements:
- A valid HGV C+E Class 1 license with no more than six points for minor endorsements
- Minimum of 1 year's relevant experience in a similar role
- Excellent geographical knowledge, with the ability to navigate complex routes
- Strong customer focus, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
