Job Title: Support Worker - Part-time

Job Type: Part-time

Location: Worcester

Job Description:

We are seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. The successful candidate will work with a 45-year-old gentleman who has memory problems and epilepsy resulting from a brain injury.

The ideal candidate will be proactive and able to support our client with everyday tasks, such as attending appointments, shopping trips, and helping with medication management. The role also involves supporting our client to maintain his independence and achieve his potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our client with daily tasks and activities
  • Assist with medication management and ordering
  • Help our client to maintain his diary and reminders
  • Accompany our client on shopping trips and appointments
  • Provide general support and assistance with daily living tasks

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with brain injuries or memory problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work alternate Sundays and cover sickness and holidays
