POSITION TITLE: Maintenance Planner

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to and promote the safety culture of Petrofac and its clients.
  • Contribute to the performance of the Asset Maintenance Team in relation to contract key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and implement 'Best Practices' within the Asset Maintenance Delivery Team.
  • Assist the Maintenance Team to enhance the effective execution of client workscopes.
  • Oversee the maintenance implementation strategy.
  • Maintain familiarity with client planning systems and ensure an effective planning process.
  • Establish and nurture productive working relationships with client planning and maintenance teams (both onshore and offshore).
  • Ensure that offshore personnel schedules are accurately reflected in the maintenance work schedule.
  • Align resource plans with maintenance work scopes, ensuring proactive scheduling that meets operational needs.
  • Manage deferrals and rescheduling proactively.
  • Compile comprehensive packages for strategic shutdowns.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors as necessary.
  • Monitor and enhance maintenance performance in line with KPIs.
  • Develop, maintain, and present maintenance reports to support the client maintenance Delivery Team.
  • Understand and adhere to the client maintenance management system and procedures.
  • Participate in relevant client maintenance and planning meetings/forums.
  • Encourage and respond to client feedback actively.
  • Pursue continuous improvement across all service aspects and provide tangible evidence of success to clients.
  • Adapt the role in alignment with contract growth.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a scheduling role within a relevant industry.
  • Strong understanding of Maintenance, Operations, Commercial, Safety, and Human Resource issues within a relevant sector.
  • Planning experience in a maintenance capacity within the Oil & Gas industry is essential.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Excel, SAP, and Primavera 6.
  • Knowledge of offshore maintenance practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with a maintenance management system (preferably SAP).
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative team player.
