Job Title: Asset Maintenance Planner

The Asset Maintenance Planner will play a key role in ensuring the efficient scheduling, assignment, and execution of work. This includes generating high-quality job plans and work packs, identifying permits needed, and ensuring compliance with Global Work Management processes and standards.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of attention to detail, proficiency in P6, SAP PM, and Microsoft Office, and strong interpersonal and influence skills. Experience in maintenance planning within the Oil & Gas industry is required, with a good working knowledge of a maintenance management system (SAP or similar) and organizational and planning expertise.

The Asset Maintenance Planner will be responsible for:

  • Generating high-quality job plans and work packs
  • Identifying permits needed
  • Ensuring compliance with Global Work Management processes and standards
  • Monitoring KPIs and taking appropriate actions to close deviations from target
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and basic defect elimination
  • Maintaining healthy relationships and effective collaboration with other teams
  • Daily backlog management
  • Modifying job plans based on feedback
  • Requesting modification or creation of master data
  • Conducting job/field walk-downs
  • Maintaining job plan libraries
  • Setting and delivering realistic target dates and required by dates
  • Expenditure of the R&M budget within delegation of financial authority
  • Assisting in deploying Global Work Management programs

The successful candidate will be a respected, contributory team member able to establish rapport with others, with good communication skills and the ability to accurately relate information. They will understand their role and importance in working to objectives and standards, and will appreciate the cost implications of their actions.
