Project Engineer, Facilities Management

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Project Engineer to join our team at Abbott Diabetes Care. As a key member of our Facilities Engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting our expanding site, focusing on CCTV, Security Systems, and Access Control.
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage updates, improvements, and alterations to CCTV, Security Systems, and Access Control
- Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with regulatory bodies
- Coordinate and implement changes to equipment used to control manufacturing and support area environments
- Document all work carried out on an electronic PC-based maintenance reporting system
- Attend site outside normal working hours as part of an emergency call-out rota
Requirements
- Recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering or building services
- Relevant City& Guilds, BTEC, or National Diploma qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of CCTV and Security Systems, as well as supporting capabilities in HVAC systems, plant, and components
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
