Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Facilities team at Abbott, a global healthcare leader. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of engineering projects and activities across our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and assistance with engineering projects and activities, including managing facilities equipment validations and collaborating with internal engineering functions, other departments, and external suppliers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects that enhance our operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate and project manage updates, improvements, and alterations to facilities equipment, working closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure safe working conditions and compliance with relevant codes and practices.
- Manage complex capital projects with suppliers and subcontractors, collaborating with stakeholders across the business in an inclusive and dynamic work environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a HNC or HND in an engineering subject and experience in project engineering or project management within a manufacturing environment. You should also have a bias towards building services mechanical systems, HVAC, or CCTV/access control. Additionally, you will need to be PC literate and able to adapt well to changing situations.
