Project Engineer Job Description

Reed Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
  2. Engage in in-depth planning and coordination with design teams to deliver projects on time and to specification.
  3. Provide technical input and manage R&D projects, coordinating teams effectively to drive projects forward according to the project plan.
  4. Understand and sometimes be involved in the wiring, testing, and installation of cryogenic instruments to contract specifications.
  5. Develop and implement processes to enhance products and improve company performance.
Requirements:
  1. A degree in Physics or Engineering.
  2. Project engineering experience within an R&D or scientific environment.
  3. Strong project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  4. Willingness to travel worldwide for system installations as required.
