**About the Role**

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in Hull. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their educational journey.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support students in their educational journey, providing individualized attention and guidance as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement academic and social interventions, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in delivering creative and engaging lessons, utilizing formative and summative assessments to measure student progress.
  • Support phonics education, following the school's chosen program, and foster independence in life skills.
  • Ensure outstanding safeguarding and pastoral care, maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all students.

**Ideal Candidate**

  • Previous experience working with children or vulnerable adults, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles.
  • Proactive, energetic, kind, and caring individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, with a fully checkable work history and a valid driving license or willingness to use public transport within Hull.
  • Good mental and physical health, resilience, and reliability, with the ability to work with vulnerable and challenging students in a school environment.
