A Typical Day as a Residential Senior Support Worker

In this position, your daily activities will be as diverse as the residents you assist. Responsibilities will include providing direct support, collaborating with the residential senior supervisor in medication management, and facilitating health-related appointments and assessments. Your ability to adapt will be essential. With a focus on person-centered care, you will ensure that each resident receives the specialized attention they require, honoring their individual needs. As a senior team member, you will offer guidance and support to your colleagues, fostering a nurturing and respectful atmosphere. Your effective communication skills and commitment to making a positive impact will be vital in our mission to cultivate a compassionate community that promotes growth and independence. With thorough training and the steadfast support of your team, you will provide a broad spectrum of assistance, from personal care to being a friendly companion, celebrating the unique life stories of our residents and encouraging them to engage in activities they enjoy. Qualifications We Seek

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in care (professional or personal).
  • A Level 2 qualification or substantial relevant experience.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
