Job Summary

The Scout Association is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our Legal Services Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in managing legal risk for the Scouts nationally, partnering with senior leadership and HQ teams on high-profile projects that directly impact the lives of young people across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on the Scouts' property work, including supporting the Scout Association Trust Corporation
  • Take on a variety of general legal and commercial responsibilities, including claims and litigation management, compliance, and regulatory support
  • Collaborate closely with the Head and Deputy of Legal on managing legal claims, commercial and fundraising projects, and partnership initiatives
  • Provide general legal and commercial support, including claims, litigation, compliance, and regulatory work
