About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our team as a Night Support Worker. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for providing support services to our patients, staff, and visitors across our Andover sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general portering duties, including patient moves and transportation of mail, medical records, and supplies.
  • Assist with domestic cleaning functions, such as dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Support catering duties, including food preparation, service, and replenishment.
  • Work collaboratively with our teams to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Person Specification
  • Good general education at GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Entry Level 3 standard Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to undertake.
  • Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Nutrition and Health or willingness to undertake.
  • Customer care training.
  • NVQ.
  • Dementia training.
Requirements
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Physical fitness to undertake manual tasks, including lifting, pushing, and bending.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic understanding of a hospital environment and willingness to learn new skills.
