Job Title: Machine Setter

Gi Group is seeking a skilled Machine Setter to join our team in Cheltenham. This is a temporary to permanent position with opportunities for progression within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and operate equipment and machinery across the Cheltenham site.
  • Assist and support skilled machine setters in day-to-day production.
  • Perform tool changes and adjustments when needed.
  • Apply lean manufacturing skills, including 5S and TPM.
  • Communicate and work with other operational departments.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in machine setting or a mechanical background is preferred but not essential.
  • Full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive pay rate of £10.92 per hour.
  • Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm, Friday: 8am - 1pm.
  • 30 minute lunch break and 15 minute additional break.
  • Full induction and training provided.
  • Steel toe-cap boots required for site.
  • Free on-site parking and vending machines.
  • Lockers to store belongings.
