CNC Sliding Head Setter Job Description

We are working with an exciting engineering client based in Hitchin, who are looking for an experienced CNC Sliding Head Setter. The role will involve working with different types of materials and our client offers a progressive & supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experienced Setting and Operating CNC sliding Head machines - (Fanuc preferable)
  • The ability to read and create programs for production
  • An ability of working to a high standard
  • A passion to work in a busy and fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and always looking to improve the process
  • Excellent general measuring skills
  • A good understanding of engineering drawings
  • Enthusiastic and Fast Learning

You will be working with the world's largest Plastics machining business based at their Hitchin plant, they encourage a progressive and supportive environment and are keen to find a person who is a free thinker but also able to apply themselves to team activity.
