Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Systems and Infrastructure: Oversee the development and implementation of systems and infrastructure that support the company's digital transformation.
  • Line Management: Report to the IT Director and provide inspirational leadership to colleagues in the IT department.
  • Consultancy and Support: Provide consultancy and support to the business through the effective use of IT systems.
  • Collaboration and Development: Collaborate with IT colleagues, central group IT, and third-party system vendors to support and develop the existing application base.
  • Infrastructure and Support: Collaborate with third-party MSP and ISP to support and develop the infrastructure and support capabilities across the business.
  • Business Systems Change: Provide expertise in business systems change projects to enhance functionality in existing systems and/or roll out new systems.
  • Change Management: Review changing business needs and progress change requests through the relevant business owner and/or suppliers.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of skills, including:

  • Leadership and Management: Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical expertise in IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and systems.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
