Qualifications

Essential:

• Registered first-level nurse
• Specialist qualification in community nursing or equivalent
• Relevant nursing or health-related degree

Desirable:

• Mentorship or teaching qualification
• Experience in clinical supervision
• Independent nurse prescribing qualification

Experience

Essential:

• Experience in practice nursing

Desirable:

• Minimum of three years post-registration experience
• At least two years of recent experience in primary and community nursing
• Experience in managing long-term conditions
• Familiarity with implementing clinical protocols and guidelines
• Experience in quality improvement initiatives
• Audit experience

• Understanding of managing patients with chronic conditions
