About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Underwriter to join our team at IDEX Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our insurance team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with a panel of brokers, identifying new business opportunities, and growing our existing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and maintain relationships with a panel of brokers to identify new business opportunities and grow our existing portfolio.
  • Underwrite and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance policies, ensuring accurate and timely risk assessments and policy issuance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement business growth strategies, including market research and competitor analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure our business remains competitive and compliant.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including property and casualty insurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
