Key Responsibilities
The Infection Control Team operates in a dynamic environment, focusing on proactive measures to enhance service delivery. Responsibilities include:
- Providing expert advice to healthcare professionals and patients regarding infection control practices.
- Conducting investigations into infection outbreaks, identifying sources and transmission methods, and advising on management strategies.
- Performing audits and evaluations of infection prevention measures across various departments.
- Interpreting laboratory results related to infection control and communicating findings to relevant staff.
