About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Repairs Contract Manager to lead our Client Repairs Team at Stockport Homes Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and managing services within the Client Repairs Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Client Team to ensure the effective performance of the repairs service, including project managing the repairing of fire damaged properties, technical inspections, and management of the Repairs strategy and budgets.
  • Develop and Implement Budgets for the repairs service area, including void management, and produce budget activity reports and forecasts.
  • Provide Strategic Guidance to the Leadership Team on Repair Strategy related matters, including investment programmes that support the repairs and maintenance services.
  • Collaborate with Contractors to problem solve, manage complex cases, and manage progress of non-standard repairs to prevent undue delays.
  • Manage Client Budgets for multi-million-pound repairs and maintenance services, including voids.
Requirements
  • Strategic Thinking and ability to develop effective strategies and business plans.
  • Budget Management experience, including project cash flow, annual reconciliations, and long-term forecasts.
  • Leadership and Management experience, including successfully managing, engaging, and empowering staff and delivering services within standards and targets.
