We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Be Personnel Ltd. Our client, a leading Sawmilling company, is looking for a full-time Engineering Supervisor to work in the Nairn area.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations and safe working practices, including risk assessments, methods statements, and permit-to-work procedures.
- Conduct weekly audits on staff working practices and maintain effective communication between team members, management, and other departments.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve the skills of the team and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Monitor and reduce downtime, improving uptime performance and reducing running costs.
- Ensure all work equipment is properly maintained and stored, and report any damaged or faulty equipment.
Requirements:
- HNC/HND/C&G or equivalent in an Engineering discipline.
- Maintenance experience in hydraulic networks and pipework/hose assembly is desirable.
- Ability to work safely, under pressure, in a production environment.
- Computer proficiency and experience with e-maintenance systems.
